r/running #Anywhere5K: Post-race and Results

a5kThis past weekend marked our third hosted #Anywhere5K, a virtual race that anyone could run from wherever they were. If you’re new to the concept it’s simple. Instead of registering for a scheduled race at a predetermined location, #Anywhere5K says, “Don’t bother. Go run your own race.”

No registration fees or stale bagels or long bathroom lines. Just roll out of bed and go.

Well this Saturday and Sunday we had a few runners who accepted the virtual running challenge and ran the r/running #Anywhere5K.

Quick Thoughts
Props to all of you for giving it your all and an extra helping of props to those who PR’d. If you were one of those who set a personal record and you’d like to share it on the final results, please let us know.

Like photos? Check out our race album on Facebook to see a few photos. If you want to add your own, by all means feel free to do so!

r/running knows how to trash talk. Read their UNOFFICIAL TRASH TALK thread. WARNING: There is some seriously bad language, and some pretty funny stuff too.

We love running and we’re glad you love running enough to join us. Thank you all for your hard work!

Your Thoughts
We’d like to improve wherever we can, and it’s also nice to know if we’re doing something right. If you have a spare moment, please fill out this 3 question survey.
