Sorry, it looks we forgot the words to Michael Jackson’s “Thriller.” HOWEVER, that doesn’t mean that we aren’t fully aware that zombie fever is sweeping the nation.

That’s why #Anywhere5K and the fine folks at Zensah Compression Apparel have teamed up to celebrate the undead by dedicating the Zensah Zombie #Anywhere5K to those ghastly reanimated ghouls on Oct. 27th and 28th, 2012.

The best part of this zombie love fest? If you participate in the Zensah Zombie #Anywhere5K event you will be eligible to win a pair of Zensah compression sleeves and some other sweet giveaways!

Zensah Compression Sleeves and Other Sweet Giveaways

While you don’t have to dress up to run the race, to be eligible to win the Zensah compression sleeves, #Anywhere5K T-shirt, 1 of 3 copies of the iOS running game, Zombies, Run!, or some Road ID gift cards, you must do the following:

1. Register for the Oct. 27-28, 2012 Zensah Zombie #Anywhere5K race
2. Run your race at any time (and anywhere) on Saturday, Oct. 27 or Sunday, Oct. 28, 2012
3. Submit your race time
4. Take a picture of yourself in costume (basic zombie makeup is fine, as is dressing as your favorite costumed character) and with your Zensah Zombie #Anywhere5K race bib
5. Share your photo on our Facebook page or post it to Twitter with the #Anywhere5K hashtag

We’ll declare a winner of the compression sleeves and other giveaways after all of the run times and photos have been submitted for the race. It’s that simple! Now go dust off your copy of Night of the Living Dead and start practicing your best zombie stare. And don’t forget to tell your friends about the Zensah Zombie #Anywhere5K event!
