To show our appreciation for the Reddit Runnit community, we hosted the Second Annual r/running #Anywhere5K virtual road race this past weekend.
Fifty-nine runners from seven countries finished the race and that is awesome! Personal records were set. Fun was had. That is awesom-er.

As part of National Cancer Control Month, we hosted the Run For Rhodes #Anywhere5K to remember those we have lost, support those fighting this disease, recommit to progressing toward effective cancer control, and to honor runner, father, and cancer survivor, Dustin Rhodes.
How inspiring it was to watch each one of you run your own race and share your experiences with the global community. A huge thanks goes out to all of you for celebrating our anniversary with us! And a special helping of inspiration came from Dustin Rhodes himself who participated in the race as well!

The Run for Rhodes #Anywhere5K on April 20 & 21, 2013 is a great race, being held for a great cause, with some great sponsors. Included in the sponsor list is Runnr.co, a new company that creates quirky, cool, and inspiring athletic gear.

For the #Anywhere5K Team Challenge we celebrated International Friends Month by running as an #Anywhere5K community.
Be it on a team, or solo, you all did a rocking job! We had a great team turnout, and plenty of solo runners as well. We had runners of all ages. And together, we ran all over the world. For that we salute each and every one of you.
